A life deeply rooted in baseball, J.J. Gottsch left his baseball family (the Ryan-Sanders group which includes the Round Rock Express & Corpus Christi Hooks) to take a leap of faith into professional team bullriding.

A longtime front office executive for the Round Rock Express and the Corpus Christi Hooks was presented an opportunity to become the CEO of a new venture, the PBR team series franchise in Austin, Texas, the Austin Gamblers 

Gottsch's baseball background includes experiences playing in the College World Series in his hometown, Omaha and transferring to TCU, where played with Reid Ryan. He also experienced a cup of coffee in professional baseball.

The proud husband and dad is entering his 2nd year as the Gamblers CEO and is beyond elated in the direction the franchise is going.

Gottsch discusses the business plan, marketing, and increasing the awareness of professional bullriding.

His Man Cave Story involved an experience with  Will Ferrell and the Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas.

In segment 2, Gottsch offered his takes on the Big 12 football, hot dog eating contests, and his love for Austin, Texas.
